Our Story

• The story of Krin begins with the love of vintage and the drawn to menswear.
• In her childhood Krin was always fascinated by creating and imagining things and using what ever they had lying around to make her visions come to life.
• I spent my teens and early adulthood buying from popular stores and wearing cheap clothing I would consume regularly. When it came to wearing those garments on repeat, they fell apart after a couple of washes, often with seams stretched and fabric pilling. I felt bored and basic and didn’t want to wear these fast fashion women’s trends.
• The items I loved were usually vintage from the men's section and resized with my sewing machine at home.
• I always found myself drifting to the menswear aisles. I noticed the clothing looked and felt classic, fabrics were durable, and details simple and considered.
• By 2018, Krin realized she had found her calling in menswear when she worked closely with local menswear brands, and began styling. She often couldn’t find things in the menswear sections that were challenging and unique to the men she was dressing and the image she wanted to convey. I would often be drawn to women’s wear when styling men but the fit frequently wouldn’t fit perfectly or be the right cut.
• I didn't see the options for men that I saw for women or the quality that I felt was essential to building a long-term closet, and, from that missing space, KRIN was started in 2020
• Rather than taking cues from the runway or trends, I focused on perfecting new long-term essentials for men, inspired by thoughtful design, innovative details, and quality sustainable fabrics. A unique and human approach to foundational pieces remains the heart of every KRIN garment.
• Clothing to make you feel closer to yourself and exude confidence while tapping into a vulnerable side, however you choose to wear it.
